Nice collection of pics. I am a bit of an obsessive Bowie fan and for me the worst stuff he ever did was the Lets Dance, Tonight and Never let Me Down albums in the 80s. Plus most of his acting roles apart from Man Who fell To Earth and the Hunger. Labyrinth was a reasonably good film, but Bowie's acting wasn't that brilliant was it?
You're right: the majority of Bowie's '80s work was terrible, bland, dollar-chasing AOR. But there were the occasional great songs like Absolute Beginners ( but not the film, obviously ) and This Is Not America. ( Well... I like them... )
With hindsight, there's no way any artist could sustain the level of brilliance of Bowie's '70s work, but it's just a shame he became so... normal :-)
And, as for Labyrinth, my 16-year old daughter's a big fan of Bowie's performance. But maybe that's just the hormones talking...

Best thing he ever did was the intro to The Snowman. That and The Laughing Gnome.
That's funny: whenever I hear The Laughing Gnome ( when I can't avoid it )I feel physically sick :-)
