Monkey Tennis?

"And, at 7pm here on BBC One it's time for more comedy chaos with our new Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em spin-off, Marx & Spencer. This week: Karl tries to hide his copies of Das Kapital when the vicar calls round, and Frank roller-skates through the British Library, wrapped in the Red Flag."

( Sorry, this is just the kind of thing my brain conjures up in the middle of the night. )

I'd watch it.

Thanks Tom. But, of course, what I really want to do is ( in the words of the BBC ) "create high-impact content which will drive viewers to the iPlayer." I mean, who wouldn't?

It reminds me of the Don Camillo series of stories by Giovannino Guareschi, all set in a fictional small town in which a communist mayor is pitted against the parish priest. Jesus also gets involved as well.

Merry Christmas, Simon. Hope you have a good one.

Thanks Steve, much appreciated. I hope you and yours had a great Christmas, too. We had a lovely lunch with our daughter, then went out for a walk in the sunshine - a cracking day.
My apologies for the lack of the traditional Christmas post at this 'ere blog. In fact, I haven't posted much of anything lately, but hope to catch up a bit soon...
Cheers, mate, and thanks for all your support for The Glass Walking-Stick ( I really should have thought of a shorter title for this blog lol. )
