The snow that's crippled most of this country over the last week finally hit Gloucestershire today. As you can see, James was up for it!
( Here's Jasper enjoying (?) his first experience of the cold, white stuff. )
But while some people were having a good time.....
..... It was taking me nearly 3 hours to do my usual 20- minutes -journey- home from work!
Which was no fun at all.
It's all a bit thin on the ground here. Slightly disappointing, really. Still, been told to work from home which is nice...
ReplyDeleteAfter these photos were taken ( about 2:00 yesterday afternoon ) we had a serious snow-dump (is that a word?)which caused the travel problems I mentioned, then some more last night, then a load MORE this morning! Aaarrgghh!! As I arrived at work this morning I slid down a slope and avoided crashing my car into a wall by about 2 inches. And tonight it's starting to freeze on top of the snow, so tomorrow morning should be... interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful...I've been in California for over ten years (okay, eleven years and five days to be exact!) and I still grow misty eyed at pictures of snow. =) Looks like James was having a grand ol' time, that's for sure. Jasper? Not so much. Poor kitty.
ReplyDeletei'd have killed for a snow day from work. we are supposed to get more of the white stuff tomorrow.
ReplyDeletedon't look now but i just gave you another award. you earned it chum.
@Mickey, Jasper can handle it: he's tougher than he looks. And cuter :-)
ReplyDelete@Wiec?, thanks for the award mate. It means a lot to get praise from such a cool blogger!
