I always liked Freema. I thought she got a bit of short shrift as a companion, and also as a member of Torchwood. I would have liked to have seen more of her.
Even though in some ways Freema's character was under-used, she did make a lasting impression. In fact, in my opinion Series 3 was probably the most consistent of New Who so far and Freema gave some terrific performances, especially in Human Nature / The Family Of Blood.

ReplyDeleteWowza what a beauty! I have to check out the BBC more often :D
ReplyDelete(Belated Birthday best wishes, BTW)
I agree with M.D. She should've been given more than just one season of pining followed by the odd guest spot.
ReplyDeletePS. I agree with Matthew too. :)
ReplyDeletePPS. Hasn't she been cast in the pilot to some American show? Some sort of Desperate Housewives type thing? If so, well done, Freema.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments, guys!
