Although I sometimes wonder if Steve's American followers "get" half of the things you're saying ;-)

While I would broadly agree with what you said about Covid I do think this Winter could be a tough one if infections keep rising. We'll see.

As for leather trousers, I haven't fallen into that trap... yet...Simon B https://www.blogger.com/profile/07719757386457800087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5470510671824637475.post-24714677078635628642022-10-09T15:47:28.026+01:002022-10-09T15:47:28.026+01:00More erudite and interesting comments at Steve Doe...More erudite and interesting comments at Steve Does Comics, Simon?
What kind of excuse is that? I've certainly never let it stop me...

Anyway, you don't really need to make excuses for having a life, but it is nice to see a post.
Theres no point in worrying about covid, not to the extent that it stops you doing things. Supposedly its pretty much inevitable that everyone will get it at some point - if they haven't already - so... all you can really do is take sensible precautions.

Mind you, rocking out at the Mission is all very well, but be careful... you don't want to end up wearing leather trousers!

-seanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5470510671824637475.post-49150629200842154632022-10-09T00:44:31.089+01:002022-10-09T00:44:31.089+01:00Thanks Paul. Hopefully that won't be my only post about gigs this year :-)
I'm glad you've managed to get out and see a few bands. Nothing beats the buzz of live music for me, it really is therapeutic.Simon B https://www.blogger.com/profile/07719757386457800087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5470510671824637475.post-87580480022279724802022-10-08T20:39:02.569+01:002022-10-08T20:39:02.569+01:00I echo Steve's comments Simon' welcome bac...I echo Steve's comments Simon' welcome back.

.A lot to take in here and some bands I haven't heard that much off so will read it fully later. Have to say I always liked the Christsins MOR as you say and Dec with an edge (Hoverville and Ideal World). We still haven't been to many gigs since Covid, only a couple of excellent tribute acts ( I may have mentioned to you previously) at the Renfrew Ferry (another) Bowie band off course, and a general 70s tribute band that were amazing on the Stones, Blondie, Eagles, Buzzcocks etc. Oh and Nick Lowe in Edinburgh and some local (Glasgow, Lanarkshire area) pub bands. I'll need to get out more I've gotten lazy.McSCOTTYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00180091610187270638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5470510671824637475.post-64085684273135197902022-10-07T00:06:58.940+01:002022-10-07T00:06:58.940+01:00Thanks Steve, it's good to be here. It's good to be anywhere :-)

I've been neglecting this 'ere blog even more than usual this year, which is mad really as I've had more to write about in 2022... but just haven't.

Your own blog is a constant delight and I'm sorry I haven't commented much. I usually look at it and find that loads of people more erudite and interesting than me have already commented and I can't think of anything useful to add. Must try harder. Anyway, thanks as ever for your support, both here and over on T*****er, it's very much appreciated.Simon B https://www.blogger.com/profile/07719757386457800087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5470510671824637475.post-42554322792705289432022-10-06T19:56:25.561+01:002022-10-06T19:56:25.561+01:00Welcome back, Simon. :)Welcome back, Simon. :)Steve W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09191442559702617745noreply@blogger.com
